A MUDBUG MARCH IN NEW ORLEANS
TODAY TO STOMP OUT PULMONARY
HYPERTENSION. DOZENS OF PEOPLE SPENT THEIR
SUNDAY AT CITY PARK FOR A 1-MILE
WALK SILENT AUCTION, MUSIC AND
FOOD. THE EVENT WAS IN HONOR OF
CHELSEA YATES, WHO WAS DIAGNOSED
WITH PULMONARY HYPERTENSION AT
JUST 15-YEARS-OLD AND DIED 11
YEARS LATER, IN 2011. TO THIS DAY CHELSEA’S MOTHER
SAYS THERE’S STILL NO CURE AND
LITTLE AWARENESS.>>SHE WOULD BE TOTALLY
EXHAUSTED JUST WALKING FROM
CRAFT A CLASS IN SCHOOL. WE TO GO TO ONE DOCTOR THAT DID
NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE
DISEASE WHO TOLD HER SHE WAS OUT
OF SHAPE AND NEEDED TO EXERCISE. JULIANA: THIS IS THE EVENTS
