Learn to Let Go of Tension

Hi guys, I quickly want to show you the simplest technique, I have ever seen. This involves exhaling on the way down and inhaling on the way up. And it looks like this. Exhales out… Inhales in… repeat That’s it, simple! So what is this for? I often meet people who sit like this. They sit up nice and straight. And generally space is closed in, and the back muscles look like this holding a lot of tension. Abs are ‘on’. Like being in protect or defence mode. And the people I see that are like this are also fearful of bending over for whatever reason. Maybe they have been told their core is weak or some bullshit like that. So, if they are like that, this is one of the easiest things I’ve ever seen For introducing the movement of forward bending that’s nice and safe. One of the examples I remember form Peter O’ Sullivan from years ago If you move your wrist about it moves nice and free. If you squeeze it really hard and move it, it will be cranky and crunchy. Same stuff happens here. If you tense up really hard and try and bend over. One it’s really difficult to breath And two it’s uncomfortable and you can feel lots of muscular tension. So do you want to walk around continually holding tension and struggling to breath. Or would it be a lot easier just to relax and let go and breath. (exhale out when bending, inhale when coming up… repeat) Simple!! Simple stuff works. Cheers 🙂
