I’m too intense again. Today I want to
share with you a few tips how to get rid of a headache or ideally not even to
experience headaches, ever. Skipping breakfast. Are you one of those people
that get up in the morning and go: “I don’t need breakfast, I’m fine, I’m
gonna be fine, I have a splitting headache, but I’m fine. I’ll just power
right through this, yep, I’m gonna lose weight, I’m gonna just have one meal a
day. Don’t do it. When you wake up in the morning… Okay, consider this: You get into your car, key in the ignition, foot on the gas pedal… Nothing happens. Should work, right? You’re sitting in it. You want to go somewhere. But if you
forgot to put gas in it, it’s just not gonna happen! Same with your body. You must feed it in the morning, okay? You must put fuel in
your tank in order for it to go. Otherwise it’ll digest the acids and
the bile and all that extra acidity, and it can give you a raging headache. Why do
I know that? Well, uhm, hmm, let me think… I must have read it somewhere… yeah, I read about it, aha. Yeah I’ve done it. Don’t look at me like that. Anyway, if you’re
smart — which you are, since you’re watching this tape — you know that was a
good one, please eat breakfast in the morning, okay? Thank you. Eat something
that feels good, all right? Eat something that makes you happy, that
is healthy. It doesn’t have to be a huge amount. But please feed your body in the
morning, all right? Good. Second: don’t eat late at night.
Especially not a heavy meal. We’re not in Italy, we’re not in Spain, we’re not in
France, we’re not in Mexico, where they can get away with that.
I don’t know why, but somehow they get away with it. We can’t. Coming to the good food. Yes! The good foods are: fresh things. Who’d have thunk it?
Fruit is already naturally cooked by Nature, right? It just ripens on the
tree. It plops to the ground, we pick it up, and we munch it. Therefore it
doesn’t need a whole lot of digestion. Therefore it digests really quickly.
Within an hour or so fruit is usually digested. Now, if you have other food
items that you ate first — that sit in there longer — that need longer to be
digested, okay — so they’ll take, let’s say 2 or 3 hours — and you put fruit on top of
that, can the food get digested? Can it get through that gridlock in your tummy? Nuh-uh. Nope, will not will not work. So it sits there, it festers. It just sits and
festers and ferments, well this is slowly being digested. The fruit goes: come on, come on, come on, let me through, let me through. Nope. I’m gonna take my sweet old time here. Oh please, please, please, I wanna get digested quickly, I wanna get out the other end.” Nope. I’m still doing my thing here. — Sorry about that. I don’t
know where that came from. Anyway does it make it clear: never, ever, ever have fruit
at the end of a meal after you’ve eaten a whole lot of other things. Fruit needs
to be eaten first. Maybe 10 minutes before a meal or by itself. And melon,
especially melon needs to be eaten away from other foods. Good, so that was the Food! Oh
