  1. I think service dogs should be required to be certified, and registered with the State. Just Like a handicap parking card has restrictions. So should service animals. And unless the person is blind or in a wheelchair. Chances are the animal is not needed. If it is a seizure detection animal. You shouldn't mind providing verification.

  2. It would be very good if just one of the lying so-and-so's with fake service dogs was prosecuted for either a health violation or some kind of fraud. I would like to see the news posted on every social media site.

  3. Here in Colorado dog owners are required to have a legal certification document on them at all times with the service dog oh and comfort pets are disallowed in any public place especially if they serve or sell food. It's a privilege to have the certification not a right so people don't abuse the system here. Also if there are people especially kids who are allergic to dogs, the real service dogs are kept clean every day so they work within the boundaries of society.

  4. Well go abuse any animal and you'll find out quickly how much protection true service dogs have; it's a rigorous process to screen out abusers and can have the privilege revoked. I just wonder which coast you live on you being ignorant of a serious issue here. How baked are you making comments degrading people who actually need them just to have a life and not feel left out?

  5. The people who train service animals are not a very large group. It's expensive to do. So why can't the government accredit these businesses? Then the animals can get registered with states and issued cards.
Just like the card plaques certain disabilities do not require special parking privileges the service dogs or emotional support dogs do not get cards.

  6. I don't want to have to carry around papers or cards just because some assholes wish to break the law.

  7. I'm getting a large snake, I'mma call it my emotional support animal. I'll name it Hillary, because they're both cold blooded killers.

  8. With all the bitching about weeds, home garage businesses and now service dogs.
I guess your crack investagatory journalists weren't interested in making sure a business owner can question the legitimacy of a service dog.

Americans with dibilities act. For those who care about facts, will tell a business owner their LEGAL avanues, not rumors.

This is a disservice. Present all the facts, not a common bitch…

  9. i used to work at a dollar store and it was in the same shopping center as a dog groomers and a petco so a lot of customers would bring in their dogs and claim they were service dogs. The problem with that was that a little toddler got bit one time trying to pet someones dog. and i had to clean up dog shit and piss all day.

  10. I have to sit here and shake my head at the absolute low life scum that partake in shit like this. You dumb fucks are ruining the protections and lifelines that service dogs provide. We all know that some sensitive faggot politicians are rubbing their hands together and getting ready to push a bill that will abolish service dogs in most businesses. Selfish, self- entitled little pieces of shit that want live on the coattails of the people that actually paved the way for service dog acceptance.

It's not enough that men and women served in wars and were ready to give their lives to do so, or the severe PTSD that they have to wrestle with each and every day…now we have to be concerned about some fat cunt walking her little yippee loofah on a string in Walmart terrorizing everything within 50 feet being an example for more stringent legislation to be put into effect. It's not the animals fault, it's the owner.

I say we start a nationwide knockout game for anyone with a fake service dog!

  11. Just let the dogs in the stores and restaurants. They aren't poison. They aren't going to make you sick. Many of them will be a pain in the butt and will need to be dealt with, but that's the price of freedom. Holding individuals accountable instead of blanketing an entire group of people is a hallmark of freedom.

  12. That poodle that is dressed up is not a fake. That dog is trained by trained and maintained. They dress them up for a reason. go on their Instagram and you will see why. It is not illegal to dress up a service dog.

  13. You are required by not only state but federal law due to fraud and Compliance with the ADA. People want to take there pets into grocery stores, movie theaters, sporting events and such. Service dogs are highly trained to Not interact with the public, but help the person who Needs it. If it breaks it's training then it's not good for the person and will have to get another one which is an arduous process. They wear the vest and the person carries a Certification card stating such. Please don't be Ignorant to this; It helps the Disabled be a participant of society and them feel wanted and loved! 👍

  14. You may want to bury your head in the sand, but when the feds added service dogs to the ADA that means that your state may not require it but the feds Trumps the state on the ADA. Besides are You going to be the jerk who tells a disabled person "We don't accommodate the Disabled!"

  15. Plenty of places Especially Grocery stores and Restaurants can refuse you service with local and state Health Departments backing them up 100%. Service dogs or any registered animal has to be trained Rigorously and Certified. All you need one person to complain if you try to sneak your untrained pet cause you're lonely don't fly anymore. Besides people including Children that have allergies come first. You'd be surprised how many break the law just to bring a pet claiming to be a service animal. Just remember; if that "Service Animal" pees on your leg or drops a load in Chili's in front of you I'll be somewhere saying SITYS!!

  16. typical emotionally retarded libtards that "need" fe-fe with them where ever they go. What happened to common sense HEALTH CODES?

  17. I brought my dog when he was a puppy once to a home depot because I believed I had trained him enough not to bark at random people when we are out. It went ok until people wanted to pet him. He just barks and rarely bites, though the people he has bitten are abusive assholes in my family so it works out lol. Well, after I seen that he has an issue with barking I didnt do that anymore. Now I do take him to parks now that he is older and he does well. But I do sometime have to shush him when there. He is a friendly mutt but I understand how dogs can do things you dont believe they are capable of so I keep him on a leash if around people.

  18. These fake service dogs wasn't nearly as bad until you news f*cks ran those stories showing just how easy it is to fake.
Just thank God my area is finally giving these fakers the boot.

  19. It drives me nuts! I have an actual PSD that got attacked by a German Shepherd that was a "so called service dog." I hate it!

  20. ADA allows Owner Trained … does NOT require / acknowledge / recognize any certification or registration. However, it DOES require that the dog or mini horse be TRAINED and well-behaved. Know its Task(s) to help its disabled Handler.

  21. That poodle is from an actual organization highly trained. And the shep on the plane seat is a bomb detection dog. Do your research before reporting

  22. A cop here dared ask someone for proof that a dog was a service dog, and it turned into a huge outrage mob. Now cops don't ask for proof anymore, and people can just do whatever the hell they want.

  23. Service dogs needed to certified or licensed. A dog barking like crazy or chasing someone is not a service dog, and not a well trained dog period.

  24. If they don't need licenses businesses should not have to let them in. Post a sign "No Dogs Period "and tell them you have a fatal allergy as genuine as their service dog.

  25. I don't think service dogs should be a thing. It's just an exaggerated ploy to bring their dogs with them everywhere.

  26. most so called service dogs are duds, the only thing they are trained to do is be calm. they stink A DOG HAS TO DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN NOT OVERTREACT. A bunch of dud people are taking advantage of the dogs.

  27. Put a secondary chip into the service animal and a copy chip in the vest so that restaurants can scan both to confirm that it is a service animal and both of those chips can only be put in by the company who trains the animals and provides the vests and the restaurants have a scanner that looks and reads only that chip and of course I think that only the managers should scan them so if a scam owner comes in then they seat them and all that good stuff then call the police and point them out so the owner can get fined/arrested for a felony offense

  28. These spoiled entitlement jerks should be subjected to the same draconian fines slapped on businesses that refuse legitimate 'service' animals entry.
There is a big difference between a pet, an emotional support / therapy animal and a dog trained by institutions like The Seeing Eye to ensure the safety of a person.

  29. Ummm. The poodle with the heart body suit and red vest is actually a real trained service dog from trained and maintained, They just like to dress their dogs up. Please get ALL the info correct before posting.

  30. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think people started selling service dog vests only for the reason if a real service dog’s vest is worn out and needs a new one, not to cause any harm, but then people were like “well I could just put my dog in this and take it anywhere now,” and then people sold them as fake service dog vests.

  31. Hey dumb ass service dogs don’t need to be trained by professionals and vest don’t make a service dog a service dog is made by their training and behaviour :/

  32. It really depends on the manager of these establishments. If I owned any such business I would simply limit service dogs to blind
people. Then you would not bring any dog in my place of business without a muzzle.

  33. Ya know, if you stop selling this shit on public internet stores and local malls, you might not have these problems. Money buys everything and irrational mentally impaired people will do anything to have what they want, regardless of the problems they cause others.. It's a dog eat dog world we live in today.

  34. The reality is until some off there major corporation stand up these ass holes and band them from there stores the BS will continue .Iam sure there insurance premiums have gone way up???After a few big $$$ law suite of customer's being bit ..Corporation's will start to push back … Any business can refuse animals on there premises due to there insurance laws .. That's why none off these ass holes ever win in court trying to sue because they were denied entry on to a business with a animal. They never make to the court docket the Judges throw these cases out 99.9% of the time….

  35. Back in the day when ppl were actually in a wheelchair to require a service animal. Now you get one because your afraid of the rain or some other bs.

  36. if that "ServiceDog"is lunging barking attacking other SDs…that store owner can ask the patron with the out of control animal to leave the store….SDs are highly trained to ignore everything except their handler….oh yes you can tell..and the store etc has the right to have the animal removed from the premises….

  37. Remember guys if you're working and someone comes in with a "service dog" if the dog is barking ( not by command ), used the floor as its bathroom , etc,etc even if its claimed to be a service dog, you can ask the person to leave

  38. If disabled people have to have registration paperwork and a badge on their car for disabled parking ,then service animals should be registered to have the same……for identification reasons, just like disabled drivers !
We can change the laws by calling our state legislature and ASK that this issue be addressed !

  39. These selfish idiots are everywhere in CA. Store owners and managers rarely know or try to enforce the laws. What I find interesting is that in the six years that I owned a restaurant in North Carolina not one person tried to bring in a fake service dog. NOT ONE. Say what you will about the south, but they're big on tradition there and decent people wouldn't think of bringing a pet into a restaurant.
