the blood. We need to control blood sugar level to maintain
a happy and healthy life. If untreated, Diabetes increases your risk
for many serious health problems. But the good news is that with proper treatment,
diet, and exercise, many people with diabetes are able to prevent or delay the onset of
complications. Today I will discuss some diabetes complication
for your awareness EYE COMPLICATIONS:
Diabetes can cause eye problems and may lead to blindness. People with diabetes do have a higher risk
of blindness than people without diabetes.People with diabetes are more likely to suffer from
Glaucoma, Cataracts, and Retinopathy. Foot Complications
People with diabetes may develop serious foot complications. people with diabetes have peripheral arterial
disease (PAD), which reduces blood flow to the feet which ultimately lead to a foot ulcer
and need foot amputation. Diabetes patients may develop diabetes Neuropathy. SKIN COMPLICATIONS:
Diabetes is a dangerous disease if untreated. It affects every part of the body including
skin complications. Diabetes patients suffer from a different
type of skin infections, infections of the hair follicles, Infections around the nails,
infections of the glands of the eyelid. Kidney Disease
The kidney is a vital organ in the body. It removes waste product from the blood. Diabetes can damage the kidneys and cause
them to fail. Failing kidneys lose their ability to filter
out waste products, resulting in kidney disease. High Blood Pressure
Diabetes Patients may develop high blood pressure which increases more risk to heart disease
and Stroke. Diabetic ketoacidosis
Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious condition that can lead to coma or even death. There are much more health complications of
diabetes. If untreated, diabetes poses serious health
risk into the body. Fortunately, Diabetes can control through
proper diet, medicine, and exercise.
