Bioenergetic Foot Tension Release Routine


our feet get abused so much they carry
all of our weight and many times we forget to feel them and see how much
tension there actually is within our feet so in this video we’re going to go
over several different bioenergetic exercises that help us to release some
of those tensions within our feet the first exercise is very simple it will be
rubbing your feet against the ground and becoming very presently aware of your
feet and allowing them to warm up the next stage is to grab a towel and put it
underneath one of your feet now you want to stand in the normal position with
your feet eight inches apart your knees slightly bent your belly out your pelvic
floor relaxed your back straight and from at the beginning you’re not gonna
move around on the dowel you’re just gonna it’s gonna stand on it and feel
the tension and breathe deeply while you feel the tension in your foot after you
did that for about 30 seconds you can move the dowel to a different part of
your foot and also feel the tension that is there once you do this in different
parts of your feet maybe two or three different places then move the dowel to
the side and stand it naturally and feel what the difference is between your feet
then after you feel for about thirty seconds get the dowel and use it on the
same foot and start rolling rolling and rolling and rolling from the same
position but start rolling your feet on it and allowing yourself to feel and
breathe during this moment and it’s gonna release a lot of tension sometimes
there’s a little bit of pain associated with this so make sure that you’re
putting enough weight so that you feel the release but not too much that it’s
completely uncomfortable then after you’re done rolling put your dowel to
the side and put your both feet eight inches apart and just a stand there and
breathe deeply and allow yourself to feel the difference between both your
feet wonderful way to increase feeling in
your feet and also release a lot of the tension that we hold within our feet
will be to grab different types of balls now for beginners it’ll be great to
start off with a tennis ball because it has air in it and it won’t be as hard
and possibly even painful and then you can also use a harder ball maybe a
little cross ball is pretty good and let yourself breathe deeply while you’re
feeling the tension releasing another great ball to use is a golf ball now
with this one you probably don’t want to be standing up because it is so hard and
so small it’s gonna hit a lot of different tension spots within your feet
so at least for the beginning make sure that you’re sitting down when you do
this and just letting it roll underneath your feet and wherever you do feel a lot
of tension make sure to focus on that area another great tool to use will be a
massage ball with this one you want to be sitting down on the floor and massage
your feet seeking the tension spots and focusing on where you feel the most
tension with this ball what’s great about it is that you can use it on
multiple parts of your body so I suggest definitely getting one of these to be
able to massage all the tension spots that you that you hold within your
within your muscular system and while you’re using it on your feet you can
also use it on your ankles and your shin splints and it just it’s just a
wonderful of just a wonderful tool to use in a while you feel so long do you
